Now I'm wondering if D would actually honor this request... wouldn't it mean they would lose a lot of their customers and de-facto supporters?

...or maybe not. That way, D would get them to make deals with him, or cash in on the souls of those who have already signed...

I think the comic is just awkwardly phased. To me, it reads as "It woudn't be fair or Outer Space to have to deal with dudebros."

Yeah this comic doesn't work very well really. I read it incorrectly at first. I thought she was correcting her earlier statement of "sending them into outerspace" by saying "to outer space" instead, it took me a second to read it as "no, it wouldn't be fair on outer space"

Wow, you're really helping us realise that MRA's aren't a bunch of whiny cocks.

It's not killing people who disagree with the sisterhood...

It's turning those people into astronauts and sending them on a mission to outer space!

Which is totally fun and awesome, unless something goes wrong with the ship or you run out of air or get lost and can't find your way back to earth.

But still, I mean...

I'M IN SPACE

Yes, you are right. The outer space does not deserve that. I can see it now.

And Istancow, I would love to join you in outer space exploration Smile But I don't think I would be able to play a dudebro even for such an amazing opportunity.

The funniest thing I find about this strip, is that if it was Slick saying that about the Sisterhood he'd have his hide STRIPPED ten different ways by the forum goers here.

But of course because it's Mininique it's alright!

Excuse me while I go laugh uproariously at the double-standard here.

Mr. Ishida frequently suggests that violent revolution is a temptation, occasionally a valid response, of women who feel that they are oppressed. I can't say that I find it amusing. Violence has rarely solved social problems, merely replaced them with other ones that are sometimes worse. Of course, I can't take this particular strip very seriously, for I doubt she would seriously undertake this Final Solution - more venting. But ought one really vent thoughts of such violence at all? Against a racial group, it would be hatespeak. Against a political group, sectarian rhetoric. Either way, probably better repressed than

Yep, just keep telling yourself that we're only okay with it because it's Minique saying it.

Not because one of the groups discussed is actually in the right, and the other is a group of whiny, morally stunted fuckwads with an overblown victim complex that anybody with a sense of empathy and a half-decent set of morals would find frustrating to the point where venting is a very much a necessity.

It didn't occur to you that the reason for this is that people here agree with the sisterhoods ideals? That they find the sisterhood pleasant characters that try their best to promote ideas, which most people in this forum agree with?

Having slick wishing the sisterhood vanish and minique wishing dudebros vanish, is not the same , if you realise that the sisterhood and dudebros are not the same.

If you didn't realise that, I'm glad I could help.

But perhaps you realise that. Which means that you find funny that most people here like the sisterhood and don't like dudebros...which is ok, I guess, if you want to laugh , laugh. I mean, I don't find it funny, but sometimes people don't get my humor either, so don't let the lack_of_laughs_by_others upset you.
