At least he knows to take a break and find inner peace in the face of frustration.

...But then again, if I meditated every time my Photoshop crashed in my Graphic Design uni days I would have either found Nirvana or wasted a good 30% of my day meditating.

Art rage. Yes. I have experienced it a few times. This week. Today. In the past hour. At this very moment, which is why I am here and not in my studio.

I still draw with pencil, ink and paper, the first half is no big deal, pencil's erase.... Once you start to Ink.... There is no undo... So MUCH RAGE.

I'll go through random bouts where Photoshop's linework on a hard brush for inking keeps looking like my hand is shaking. It just won't go smooth for ANYTHING! I get so frustrated trying to figure out why it randomly seems to do that sometimes! I'm like, is my Cintiq driver messed up? Or is the pen nib damaged? NO? WHHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!!!

I should look into other programs for inking. I've heard some do it better. I never have trouble actually painting and coloring Photoshop. Just the freaking inking. =/

I haaaaaaaate that wobble. Evil or Very Mad From what little googling around I've done on the problem, it seems like it's a Wacom thing, not necessarily just a Photoshop thing. It can be caused by nearby radio interference, like from a router, or even an older CRT monitor, which messes with the communication between the pen and the tablet. You might just need to quiet down your workspace, as it were.

My tablet's just really old, and wearing out. Crying or Very sad

Oooh, that makes sense. So annoying though. It's probably worse on a Cintiq too, since you're working on a screen with it. Dang though. I'll have to see what type of interference is there. I'll look into it when it happens next though. Thanks for that!

As everyone can tell: I have been copying and pasting unoriginal content from other forums and re-posting them as if they were made of pasta.
I don't want to apologize for this. I think this idiocy inspires people to go outside and do something new.

The display on the Cintiq is LCD rather than CRT, so it really shouldn't be interfering with itself. I'd look for more likely culprits nearby, like a router, CRT TV, people using wireless controllers for console games, and even microwaves.

I found myself inspired enough to yell CHILDFREE and fire a small toddler through a plate-glass window.

APOLOGIZE
