| ridiculous. I tell you, someday your craft will betray you. it will take you to the rim of the heavens and then break your heart. new techniques? it's all a subtle ploy, my friend, to destroy everything you love. like a mysterious and alluring woman seen from afar, luring you in with winks and vanishing smiles, your search for that perfect scarab or celtic cross will lead only to disaster. the internet can help, tom. trust us. |

simple physics. entropy. long term sacrifice is just that, a sacrifice of valuable resources to the forces of nature. short term investment assures short term gains, with less entropy involved. our brain cells are atrophying as we speak. tomorrow we will be stupider than today. WE'VE GOT TO DO THIS NOW! |

So our short term goal is to amuse you? Oh, you clever bastard, you almost had me for a second there. I would think that the acquisition of new mechanisms of thought would be a worthwhile endeavour. The more intricate the thought process, the more subtle the working out of complex problems, the more quickly we can absorb, process, and make value judgements on new data. Were I to abase myself to your idea, I would never move forward, and the atrophy of my brain would serve no purpose.
I'm not even going to bother to check if that made any sense. _________________ bi-chromaticism is the extraordinary belief that there exists only two options

it did not make sense at all.... because it is TOO LATE! you've already lost too many whatchamacallits and thingamabobs and gidgets and gizmos in your gord system... TOO LATE! while you babbled on in defense of the higher ground your brain was secretly crawling under the blanket. TOO LATE! all that is left is amusement. yes, yes. all we can do now is laugh. |
