On top of the World, Self Satisfied, drunk and possibly still somewhat pissed off Sam, I don't like where this is headed. Someone get Liberty out of the house. Sad

Or maybe he'll run into the rogue Fembot and have an epic battle with his suit on.

Whatever happens, I hope Liberty isn't hurt.

xD That would be cool. I wonder what Big D and his screens would make of that.

And of course he couldn't get a total memory wipe like Lil'E and turn into a goodwilling, self-conscious infant that wants to help others...no, he only gets to come back to the "I'm awesome-looveeee meeeee" drunken teen stage...

Then again, during his very early days he had no problem with slavery either, so maybye it's a good thing he doesn't go so back.

Sounds like the title of a Dennis Wheatley novel.

Good point Geareye - maybe Lethe water only sets you back an x amount of time. Lil E is younger after all.

Slick also only seemed to forget quite a short amount of time when he drank the Lethe water. Simplest explanation is that it just runs on Rule of Plot, erasing however much Tat wants it to. Or if we want to start theorising, perhaps God or another deity controls its effects. Also didn't Lil'E splash it on his face because he was all sooty, not drink it? Perhaps the amount of memory it erases is based on how much contact with skin it has, and the mouth/insides don't count as much for some reason. </wildguessing>

slick didnt drink the lethe water though - he swam in it for a while.

well, actually, no, he kinda DID drink the lethe water... in the form of a smoothie, combined with a few apples of self-knowledge... but that didn't really have any effects of which to speak.

Made him understand Socratic philosophy. No long lasting effects, though. Sam's lasts longer, I guess. He needs his dose every couple of years

I'd guess that, much like caffeine or alcohol, different people have different tolerances.

"Lethe - Drink to Forget". That is actually a really good slogan. The only problem with drinking to forget is that when you wake up the next morning reality is still there.

I couldn't find a version of this without Yugioh. ;_;
