Now i really want to see Slick's eye.

In extreme close-up, like M.C. Escher's "reflective ball".
The reflection in his eye would show the hand holding the devil glasses.
The scene THROUGH the glaases would be different from that AROUND the glasses.

You could do all that just by drawing from Slick's perspective - but I don't recall Tat ever drawing from a character's perspective.
