Doesn't that tricycle run on... dudebro tears?
And now we're saying the flood is made from God's tears. The trike was refilled from floodwater a few days ago.

Which means- God is a dudebro?

I dont think she was wrong to shake God out of his pity fest. But I wonder if there will be any backlash from this further down the line. She might have made at least one powerful new enemy. How will Death react to being robbed of his harvest?

(also hello all, I've still been reading the comic daily, just been away from the forums for a while. A long while really...)

This has horrible implications!

See, the only ones safe were Slick, Squigley and Criminy... who were on dry land, telling tales of mysandry!

where they safe because their dudebro-ism? Were they the new Noah & family, spared from the flood to repoblate the world with dudebros (and piggybros)?

Ermahgerd, where all the dead men feminist allies??????

In this case, is Xanthe the feministh new Messiah for saving the (hu?)mankind from extinction????

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN

I like how the minute the flood stopped, Death was just like "Oh. Well alright then."

And welcome back, Sir Craigius!

(I almost read that "Sir Craigslist", and I got really excited but it actually wasn't Craigslist but it's still cool you're back)

Damn it! Just when I gotten over Xanthe being a Mary Sue, she has to fly up to God Himself to get Him to man the f--- up. I want to like Xanthe, but she's not making it easy.

On the other hand, the Sisterhood may have jumped the shark. After you bitchslap God, what else is there for you to do?

I'm pretty sure, as long as the patriarchy is in place, all males are dudebros to some degree. No male allies, after all.
They can do what they can to try and support women and the sisterhood, but as long as they exist within the privileged society that benefits them as it harms women, they're part of the burden.
You just can't help lift the weight when you are a part of it.

...besides, this was discussed in the other thread, already: http://www.sinfest.net/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=6913

The Pitch fork was delivering a pity party balloon to God. It was flying back down afterward because it did its delivery.

...who authorized that? Isn't the devil still drowning?
Are they automatically sent out to pity parties or could Blue of sent it? Or what? o_O

I think the devil drowning and being totally helpless was probably comic exaggeration.

Another broken promise by deities who use gay iconography.

It could be worse, she could have been lost in the static.

Why exactly did Xanthe's just driving by provoke God into such a bout of self pity anyway?

He's got a physical body; how would he get out of the flood when he started out in the center of it?
...I guess it doesn't matter, though.

Well, I expect he used the same sort of skullduggery that Tom and Jerry so often use to run off cliffs and not fall until they notice the absurdity of their situation.

You know.

Cartoon magic and whatnot.

Yeah. I mean, the God crying thing turned from a silly one-off to a Sunday strip where a bunch of people died. It's kind of weird.
