Idea for a funny strip: Fuscia has an art opening & Crim there & we find that most of the paintings are of Sexy Criminy. Which would be funnier though: His reaction or trying to explain to the other cast members? _________________ It's time to prove to your friends you're worth a damn. Came here to say that, leaving satisfied. |

Why do you need a specific onscreen example before you'll consider it? They -haven't- been shown going around sticking censor bars on old Greek statues or anything, and in fact have kept their actions pretty specifically targeted. They know what they're doing.
Why assume otherwise in this case? |

Because they, and through them Tats has been rock solid in condeming anything even vaguely sexual as exploitive of women. _________________ I aim to misbehave |

You're confusing pornography (which has always been displayed as the exploitative mysogonistic kind) and stripping with "anything even vaguely sexual". _________________

I did say I'd color it, but I don't have time to modify this any longer, so here it is. About three hours of photoshop time, and this is not a high quality version but it works, I guess.

It's really good! Although with the white at her mouth in panel 3 she looks kind of like she's filled with light - which is neat in a metaphorical way. _________________ ::lesser crisis mode::

You've got some skills, there. I've tried colouring a few Sinfest strips, with an emphasis on keeping colours fairly close to those Tat uses in the Sunday strips.
The only thing I'd mention - and it's minor - is a variation of Tat's "joke" a few weeks back about use of blacks. Try to figure out where the sun is, where shadows should be, and add some darker tones. Necks, arms, legs and... tails... are places where this stands out. [Check the arms & legs in my signature comic for an example]. Fingers, ears, and noses - not so much, but a soft touch does a lot.
I only mention it because it gives me grief. Especially when the "camera angle" changes between comic cells. _________________

Thanks~ I tried to work off memory for the colors.
I did try to give some attention to where the light source would be, and played a little with her hair. This was supposed to just be fun practice for me, so I didn't worry over smaller details. _________________ I just wander in and out as I please. |
