I think Tat's sort of realized how much we like the way he draws big eyes... he's included it in quite a few recent strips.

How tall the characters look sort of changes with Tat's style, doesn't it?

Pete Jackson, Return of the King Extended Cut: "Remember: pain is temporary; film is forever."

Pain is temporary Crim, but this art will be forever Smile

Seems like my talking about how hard it is to hold a pose like that last time wasn't in vain. Crim must have goddamn SUPERPOWERS to hold it for 10 HOURS though. Only numb legs? He should have friggin passed out by now!

I like the contrast between how dark and mysterious he looks in her painting and then the last panel XD

I heard that true yoga mastery involves being able to hold the different poses for three and a half hours.

So Crim must have superpowers, I agree. Or he's stuck.

Have we seen reality zone crim? If not the painting looks like a possible version we could see for reality zone crim.

The painting also looks like he is holding slick's glasses.

Meant as a parallel to pornography and objectification, perhaps? Given that she, in her rapture over her image, is ignoring Criminey's discomfort. Yet it's hard to blame her, since it looks so innocent. All the same, I'm uncertain whether this is to be held up as an alternative to pornographic fixation - a sort of innocent blindness in a parallel activity - or whether it is guilty of a subtler version of the same offence.

Assuming that art can be pornographic at all (which is a doubtful question), Mr. Ishida's had certainly been pornographic for some years. Possibly Fuschia begins to follow in his own culpable footsteps. Not that _I_ blame her. Just musing on Mr. Ishida's own apparent notions about such things, and how they entwine with the setting. An inconclusive interpretation.

TEN HOURS??

I already drop down dead after 3. And that's when I'm in a comfy pose.

That would be like when Daphne called Niles Niles instead of Dr Crane for the first time. It would be a big moment.

And god damn. 10 hours solid? Give the boy a break girl! He must be dying for a drink, snack and toilet break by now!

Actually how does Crim know it's been 10 hours? He doesn't seem to have a watch and there isn't a clock in sight. Maybe he's exaggerating... or maybe his superpowers include being able to accurately tell time without a timepiece.

I'd assume it was an educated guess, based on the position of the sun. Astronomy is his forte, after all.
