NSA has nothing on Blue.
And I thought reading the new strip would distract me from my IT homework... _________________ I just wander in and out as I please. |

In my case, it would be a lot quicker if they just add a Cliff-Notes edition for each Volume of my transgressions. _________________ “I believe in benevolent dictatorship provided I am the dictator”

I guess each page is pretty small, has really REALLY wide margins and/or large fonts.
Also, kudos to Mr. Meddler for trying to make an audit more exciting by adding an exclamation point. _________________

What is it with Sinfest characters and being able to keep still in the same spot for an inordinately long amount of time? First Crim, now Seymour... They must be very well-disciplined. |

Hahaha awww poor Seymour. It's rough when you just have all your sins laid out like that. Just remember Seymour "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", you're in good company.
I love how much friendlier Seymour seems to have become. There was a time he probably would have dismissed Blue or insulted her. Now he just politely asks questions and sits there while she does her work. He's probably regretting it but it's still nice. |

The last panel has hiim looking like "Oh Dear, I'm every bit as bad as those I've condemned aren't I?" The ironic thing is that this may result in him becoming a better Christian. _________________ I aim to misbehave |

I wouldn't be TOO sure. I mean, his theology does allow him to just ask Jesus for forgiveness and BAM, slate's clean.
So maybe he'll do that: ask Jesus for forgiveness. Like, in person.
Could be an interesting/funny/somewhat depressing exchange, depending on how cool Sinfest-Jesus is. And Sinfest-Jesus has a jetpack, so he is pretty damn cool. |

i'm wondering if he's going to pick up on sanctimony and self-righteousness as problematic behavior. he's been beating himself up about his lust for jesus-porn, but he hasn't shown much awareness of his other flaws. _________________ aka: neverscared!

Whoa! I totally did this last Saturday. I called someone out on their multiple levels of blasphemy and showed the verses that confirmed it. Thanks to the power of cognitive dissonance [Oops, I mean the hot white sticky holy spirit pie that was all over her face], she was completely unaffected by her holy papers and she did not change her ways. Which goes to show you that you shouldn't bother trying to change people [Not even with their own literature]. They just don't get it and they don't want to get it. It doesn't matter how good the punchline is, they don't want to feel pleasant laughter emanate out of their inner being. |
