Good point. Now I'm hoping tomorrow's strip is just her pushing buttons and trying new things. That'd be fun.

She looks so adorable in the last panel. But how does she know what the changes look like without a mirror?

Hey I remember that episode!

Pretty sure it's the one where Data tries to make a 'daughter', using his own robotic systems as a template. IIRC she 'dies' after suffering a malfunction due to feeling emotion.

Yes, and some jerks try to take her away from him by saying he can't actually reproduce and therefore she isn't his daughter. I thought it was very well written.

TNG was always well written.

Always.

I don't know how you guys can like that Star Trek nonsense
I mean Luke Skywalker was like the worst villain ever
and don't get me started on that Malcom Reynolds character, he can't even pilot a death station properly

And when he fell into a vat of molten chemicals and became a cybernetic clown prince of crime with Sith powers, then things really turned out bad.

Clearly the bad episodes were written to teach us to appreciate good writing and a decent grasp of logic. You just don't understand the genius minds behind it!

It's like Anne Rice. She never fails at anything; she's just such a genius at writing flawed characters, and they happen to be telling every story she writes. Totes pure genius (and not a serious need of a good editor.)

yeah, that was a pretty lame redemption arc
you would have thought he would have been able to save the universe from Spock, but noooooooo

Captain Pickhard had to do that for him

and then he just went right back to his Molybdenum Falcon and his evil robots like nothing had happened
