For some reason, today's comic reminds me of that Garfield comic where he imagines that he is still with his family but is in fact slowly starving to death.

That was the most disturbing set of Garfield strips ever. It was quite unsettling to read that back in fourth grade.

Was it a ghost? Or perhaps....a memory?

Could the waters of the Lethe finally be starting to wear off? I fear for Lilly and Pebbles relationship if that happens.

Other than the fact that she had the ability to turn people into stone, no.

No, we're just looking at them from a different angle.

A ghost, an illusion, a hallucinatory experience...

Who put the place setting out? Unless there's a practice of leaving out dishes and flatware overnight that I don't know about, this apparition has to have some ability to manipulate solid matter.

Am I the only one who hoped it was Pebbles having had come back?

Then I hoped Lil'E's mom had really come back.

Then I was sad.

Yeah... I was still to focused on the meal set up on the table, and wondering if he just normally has a plate and silverware out or if that ghost might've actually made him breakfast if he didn't wake up so soon.

Or the intended diner is left-handed.

Anyway: awwwwwwwwww. Poor Lil' E. And poor Lilith, whatever happened to her.
