I fully plan on being cremated and then having my ashes buried at the base of a newly planted tree. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

Ah, but will it *still* be cool and different, or by that time will it be what everybody does? _________________

i would love to have my body stuffed like i was waiting to give someone a handshake or in the same pose as those stuffed bears all "arrrrgh"
but i respect it too much, dammit all.
so seriously, i intend on being an organ donor, and the rest of my body given as a cadaver.
i'm not using it anymore, why be selfish about it? you know, still be able to make a difference in someones life, even though i'm dead. |

I want my arse putting somewhere else. If that's any help.
In fact, epitaph: 'He always wanted his arse somewhere else. Bless.' |

i'm even useless dead! *cries* |

I will die and then be revived, necromancer-like, by my minions.
Or cremated and blasted into space, that'd be pretty sweet. _________________ "Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life."

I've been on the organ donor list since 1989 when I got my license. If they can use anything after I have finished with it good luck to them. Most parts are probably a bit more than slightly used by now. _________________ (_**_) *note to self, insert bottle at other end. |

If I send a self-address envelope, can I have your liver? Australian liver is hard to come by, see. |

| Donate any useful organs and have the rest burned... What the hell do I care what they do with my body after that? I'll be dead. Maybe somebody will spread the ashes over the ocean or something and say "She always like the ocean, what with living in North Dakota and not seeing it much." But really, that's up to them. I'm pretty sure I won't notice either way. |

I have to kill a couple of sheep during the week, would you care for prime australian lamb liver? My liver is being used extensively for cirrhosis studies presently and therefore is not available for immediate transplant. _________________ (_**_) *note to self, insert bottle at other end. |

Don't know about the organ donor thing, but by that time I suppose I won't really care, so.
I'm going to be buried next to my dad on the family plot. Really no other place I'd be. One day if this thread is still around, I'll post a pic of the hill where the plot is, it's really rather pretty. |

I want to be buried in a pine box, no embalming, figure I'll rejoin the earth quicker that way. Also, no offense, I feel the organ "preservation" to be quite barbaric, even if it does save lives. Again just personal feelings. Hopefully stem cell research will eliminate the need for organ donation within 15-25 years, if not sooner.
*Edit by preservation I mean the maintaining of bodily systems posthumously to keep the parts fresher. _________________
