Zawmfg!!!
You know, I was like, "Reprizent" when Pogo and Calvin & Hobbes were included in the classic literature, (of course, it IS a comic) but the guy with the Bone shirt just made me fangirl squee all over my chair. Ew.
I want a BONE shirt, right now. Let's all petition Jeff Smith!! Yaaay! Here's his message board. SPAM AWAY!!! |

Wait a tick, there are already some shirts out there. (I should have looked more thoroughly, duh)
They're somewhere on here. |

| I enjoyed the return of the insanely excited yellow haired girl. Except she has a male incantation now. |

They used to run this in Disney Adventures, but stopped for no apparent reason. It's an awesome comic. _________________ fight |

| The collected issues in hardcover are something every library should have. |

Oh yes, and I'm sure that people who like Sinfest would like Bone.
The "gimmick" of the comic is that it's this epic story, with a lot of very serious themes, and a totally hawt and awesome heroine, but very absurdist characters as well, the ummm... well they're bones. It's strange. But good!
I too discovered the comic from Disney Adventures... in fact, I still have the issues that Bone ran in. Then I got older and found them again in the library and comic shop... good times. I so want the Phoney shirt. Kinda like the Homestar Runner shirt with the star, or the "Charlie Brown" shirt. Iconic textile simplicity at its finest. |
