In one path or another, she'll end up in the same place, doing the same thing... just with a different mind set.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't 'Nique's eventual conversion to Androgyne Feminism triggered by the fact that she lured a million men to Hell?

Okay, I promise that this is the conclusion of a very meaningful line of thought (mostly focused around "which dream hand corresponds to awake 'Nique's hand?"), but is Demonique left handed?

Also, other though -- in the last panel, is that just a normal shadow of 'Nique's right hand, or is that a Meaningfully Changed Shadow of her left?

Hmm, I think this may be implying that Demonique isn't so much a part she needs to get rid of or push away but rather accept. She isn't like Slick's bomfed demon counterpart, more representative of the darkness in every person, and if fantasy and scifi have taught me anything it's that light can't exist without the dark. She just has to learn to control her demon side, when to let it out and when to restrain it.

Fight the wicked and join them...

The hands of damned souls, prodded by the demon, and prodded again by the full identity... who are they? Why are they reaching, grasping? What do they seek?

The meaning is unclear. Must wait for further clarification.

Hmmmm. I think we can pick up on one of the subtleties - 'Nique jabbed at the hands because they were grabbing hold of her, to get free. Demonique was there specifically *to* jab them. So using the same tools, but not for the same reasons.

It's difficult to use peaceful methods against those who wish you harm.

If I remember correctly, the damned souls just want a party.

What would happen if Demonique and Kcils met? (Don't think they have...)

Ultimate power couple, and collaborate to bring down their human alter egos?
Or simply too overwhelmed with pure evil and act to destroy each other?

Hahaha panel 15 is super cute ^^

Whoa, her hand's open. I guess that means she gave back the fork.

Is it significant that Monique's evil side is a shadow and Slick's a mirror image or am I just looking for a deepness that isn't there?

Oh hey, I just noticed the heart on the pitchfork in panel six. Hurm.

Does that signify that Demonique and 'Nique are actually doing *different things*, with the same tool, and not just doing the same thing for different reasons? 'Nique's just stabbing at arms to make them let go, not going for the hearts.

Or am I reading too much into this?

(N.B. Panel 2 is incredibly cute too...)

It seems to me this is about how they face the same problem, not necessarily about the tool they are using. Nique doesn't want them stabbed, but they still grab at her, so she reluctantly hands the pitchfork back to the one doing the stabbing. It reads to me like, "Don't judge how I manage things when you aren't down here in the muck."

I look forward to seeing the next part.

I admit I find it interesting that a lot of people are crafting reasons for why it seems "OK" that Dreamnique did what she did.

I don't think the hands wished her harm, even if they might have hurt her.

I think it was more like the panic, flailed grasping of a drowning person, desperately trying to escape their fate. I mean, they're in *hell*, I would imagine, especially given the daily jabs they get, they're desperate to try and climb out. Slick didn't just sit down and stay there, after all...

Perhaps harmful, but not intentionally, and not even *consciously*.

Impaling people's hearts on pitchforks is in most societies considered unpleasant behaviour.
