I honestly can't remember if I had a different avatar on Sinfest.

Oh god this thing is probably over ten years old. Fuck.

i like people who stick with one avatar; that way i always recognize them. when people change avatars i feel like i am being besieged by new people, except they sound like old people, except i've made an entirely different evaluation of them based on what they are saying _now_, and i just get all confused.

old friends are the best.

also, according to this, churros are actually from spain, originally. apparently when they came to mexico they lost all the sauces and started clothing themselves in simple cinnamon-sugar, which is how i know them.

although mexico gave spain hot chocolate...wonder why no one here still does that, it sounds delicious.

I change avatars every couple years, but I have a handful I cycle through... I'm too lazy to find new ones.

I still need to get an avvie...

Also, how did Gibson fail to mention the toasters when they summarized the arguments?

Okay, now I'm lost and Rothide isn't even talking. Wow.

Halfway! Party! (EDIT: Wow, I said that right before Shadowcell commented on how surreal the thread was, and Dennis posted their "Toasted" play. )

... Wait, Dennis's play just improved Rothide's metaphor while at the same time tearing down the argument that went with it.

WAT.

I have often considered changing mine to the third panel in:

Because that's quite awesome.

...But once that you've gone with this level of a pretentious avatar, returning is complicated.

No going back. No.

You are Orson Welles. I will forever associate you with Orson Welles. Whenever you say things, I imagine Orson Welles saying those things with a pipe in his mouth.

I generally change my avatar every month or so.

I think this latest one will probably last a little longer though.

I've changed my avatar a few times over the years; some months ago, I tried to change it but the link didn't work. So I tried to change it back, but then THAT link didn't work. I forget the error messages that the UCP kept giving me, but they were annoying so I decided to go without an avatar. Now all this talk has me thinking.

EDIT!! Oh sure, NOW it works. Temporary glitch, I guess.
