You might be better off offering Death a ride, after all, there is no way he will allow you to die when you are drive while he is in the car with you, otherwise he might hurt himself in the crash that would result.

Because I could not stop for Death

Because I could not stop for Death--
He kindly stopped for me--
The Carriage held but just Ourselves--
And Immortality.

We slowly drove--He knew no haste
And I had put away
My labor and my leisure too,
For His Civility--

We passed the School, where Children strove
At Recess--in the Ring--
We passed the Fields of Gazing Grain--
We passed the Setting Sun--

Or rather--He passed us--
The Dews drew quivering and chill--
For only Gossamer, my Gown--
My Tippet--only Tulle--

We paused before a House that seemed
A Swelling of the Ground--
The Roof was scarcely visible--
The Cornice--in the Ground--

Since then--'tis Centuries--and yet
Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses' Heads
Were toward Eternity--

Awwww. Poor Death.

I wonder, if she saw him upset and not chasing anyone, if Pebbles would befriend him too...

This exactly what I started quoting when I read the comic. I'm glad somebody posted it. Smile

Echo I love the idea of Pebbles befriending Death. Then Lily could be friends with him too, and then he'd have an angel for a friend. An odd angel but still an angel.

I like Death maybe I should use a Death icon.

personally, i think the problem is the scythe. i mean, look at the size of the thing. it's not going to fit in the trunk, and it's sure not going to be pleasant trying to squeeze it in to the front seat. you turn your head to check the side-view, and you'll lose an ear.

Just have the backseat passengers hold it in their laps.

Death could just kill a driver and take the car.

That would be unbecoming of Death's expected stature and poise.

If you start throwing away your dignity showing your leg bones on the highway to get a ride, what's to stop you from showing more, and being more undignified? That's a slippery slope, it is.

I mean... you know what they say...

The leg bone's connected to the thigh bone.
