on the other hand, i'm relatively surprised that the likes of al-Qaeda have not yet taken advantage of how easy it is to get lots and lots of guns here. and Americans have been happy to throw away the rest of their rights in service of "fighting terrorism," so i'm not sure why guns would be exempt.

Hey shad, remember when it was specifically prohibited for Jews to hold, manufacture, or deal in firearms or ammunition in Nazi germany?

Kinda sounds like your creepy perfect storm that you guys keep talking about.

Oh I'm aware that the US works a little differently nowadays, but hey, go ahead and keep trusting a government that spies on you.

Myth.

The gun ban in Germany for jews thing is just a rightie nutjob myth.

Do your research.

Oh, this is going to be good.

Update:

Moncton shooting suspect has been identified as Justin Bourque, 24. He appears to be shooting law enforcement officers only. He's on still on the loose, and appears to be armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a crossbow or bow.

Someone found his facebook profile; almost every post was anti-government, pro-gun, or conspiracy theorist shit.

It's a myth is it?

I sure am interested in whatever sources you are using.

My curiosity is piqued.

it would be different for them here. they're not white so the government would be watching their gun purchases very, very carefully and many gun owners would just outright not trade to them or report purchases 'just to be on the safe side' because right wing gun nuts are a massively islamophobic RAH 9/11 NERER FORGIT group

ofc they could just go over the border to the lawless zones of mexico and probably do great there trading with the worst cartels. i guess? i have not given it any substantive thought

...yesh, which is why gangs of impoverished youth have always relied on slingshots for their drive by shootings. Confused

ANYONE can get guns more easily in a country with lax control, ie children that find and play with them. Shocked

Gracious, I'm just sure if we pass one, maybe two more laws, nothing like this will ever happen again.

Not quite sure why you're saying that to me, considering I never said that in the first place.

Also, the Moncton shooter is still on the loose. No further reported injuries or deaths, he appears to be hiding out in wooded areas around the town.

I would like to ban non-essential personal motor vehicles. Especially ones with combustion engines.
