My problem with the Sisterhood isn't that they're "feminist," my problem is that they're basically cops. I mean, seriously, being anti-porn and anti-prostitution basically means that you want to do the job of the police for them. Not even the American police; more like the Chinese police. If they were just vicious, destructive bitches who liked burning things and weird ritual magic, I would've dug it, but no, they're just cops. |

Did he issue like a troll rallying cry?
No, you are both trolls.
I'm to going to argue or engage other than to say: have fun trolling and failing.

Okay, so maybe they don't really use the methods of cops (bureaucracy, preemptive physical violence etc) but they certainly have the same goals. While Devilcorp has goals that are perhaps opposite to those of cops while pioneering very similar methods. |

err...no?
the cops' purpose is to support the state by enforcing its laws, and i don't see how you can describe the sisterhood as doing anything comparable. to the extent that you can describe Sinfestlandia as having a state, it seems to be more controlled by the Devil than anything else. |

I think I might try making lemon meringue in the toaster oven later, finally got down the idiosyncrasies of it and what not.

I think you're getting into "I'm technically right, the best kind of right" territory here. The Sisterhood exists to regulate other people's behaviors; they're fundamentally no different from any other group of Moral Guardians. People go to Sinfest to ESCAPE the moral guardian bullshit that characterizes all our other media. |

what comic have you been reading for the past fourteen years? Sinfest has always been "moral guardian bullshit." you just don't like it anymore because it's no longer on your side. i mean, you'd have to be if you want to conflate an ideologically-driven group like the Sisterhood with the fundamentally self-conserving institution that is the police.
if "people go to Sinfest to escape moral guardian bullshit" then they are idiots because Sinfest has always been haranguing us about one point or another. or their idea of "escaping moral guardian bullshit" consists of pretty colors on the computer screen, in which case any number of screensavers will do.
so i'm in "i'm not only technically right but basically right and actually right, which is the best kind of right, and also the kind of right that you are not, because you are wrong" territory. and it's comfy here! we've got a Krispy Kreme. go read Menage a 3 or something if you're so afraid of "moral guardian bullshit." |

I feel cheated by lemon meringue pie. OK, it's full of sugar, but it only has a bottom crust. In my heart, I want to call it a tart.
Now for pie, what you *really* want is one of these: Apple Pi

as for pie i made this double layer pumpkin cheesecake a couple weeks ago and it turned out pretty good, although in retrospect i probably should've just used pumpkin pie spice. |

I love that pie! It's my favorite type of cheesecake to make!
And as for individually mixing spices versus using pumpkin pie spice: the biggest reason you'll get some individual variation will be if you get fresh ground individual ingredients. But still...I agree. It's just a pain to do that, especially for something that's combined with cream cheese, which is heavy on the palette to begin with. Ha ha _________________

I generally like to mix my own pumpkin pie spices because I'm not a huge fan of cloves so it's kinda nice to be able to use less of them and bump up the other flavors. _________________ Samsally the GrayAce |
