I wouldn't mind seeing more of these two.

edit: oh god... I think that was the kill bot's. oh wow... this could be very good or go very wrong.

Time to overclock something. They can do it. They have the technology. Just become something is totally fried doesn't stop it from being usefull- just not in the socket it was intended to go.
What would the Sissies do with a mostly OK cut-rate hoverbike?

this is stupid

that sort of processing chip wouldn't be the important part of either a hoverbike or an android, even if it were necessary for whatever reason

it just does the math

assuming the hoverbike does need a processor, maybe to calculate balance or thrust or whatever, or to manage the controls, it wouldn't need a very good one. It wouldn't be one of the valuable pieces of salvage, even if it did survive the crash.

Memory. preferably long-term, such as Flash RAM or a hard drive.
You'll still have to take parts from the broken fembots around the factory.

Without the awareness jolt of the reality zone, the best you could hope for would be a resurrection of the killer-bot version "Roxanne".

[Edit] Assuming the CPU came from Roxanne, rather than the hoverbike.

Tats is almost certainly talking about the hoverbike cpu here

but even for the hoverbike, the firmware would be more important than the cpu

it's infinitely easier to buy a new processor than it is to rewrite the program that does whatever it is that the hovercraft needs a processor for

Finding the CPU feels more like a Terminator reference than anything meant to be a practical key part of rebuilding Death's hoverboard for Violet. Still, I like these two and would love to see it happen. There's definitely scope for some interesting mistaken-identity stuff happening in future...

that would explain it

kind of like how the "find the water chip" quest in Fallout isn't meant to make sense in terms of what processors are -
although in that universe they never invented integrated circuits, so there's more of an excuse

not that I actually get the Terminator reference or anything. I know almost nothing about that franchise!

I like to think about an hour elapsed between panels 3 and 4, leaving Li'l Sis in suspense as to what Tess was about to say while she rooted around in the wreckage xD

I agree. If she was after the software, she should have at least gone for the motherboard or something. The CPU doesn't store anything. If it was incredibly advanced, it's doubtful it would be compatible with anything if she was going to repurpose it to something entirely different. If it was generic... well, I guess maybe she could sell it for something? I mean, since it somehow completely escaped damage but was still blown away from the hardware components it should have been locked into.
I'm completely at a loss as to why the CPU is important, here.

Nice to see Tess getting some attention. I also like Violet in annoying little sister mode. It adds almost an entire second dimension to her personality.

Who knows, maybe the bot's soul is attached to her CPU, and she will come back to life? *hoping*

Here's an amusing possibility. It's Hunterbots CPU and they put it in the hoverbike.

On another subject isn't it enough Violet has a magic weapon, does she have to have a hoverbike too?
