The fourth panel reminds me of that ill-conceived world-record balloonfest United Way did back in the 80s.

All thanks, of course, to our Job Creators (peace be upon them).

interestingly, though, the devil actually did create some jobs here, which is more than our Job Creators(tm) can often say

I have no idea what specialized task the trilobite-lobster-horned.snake is supposed to do. Having done some light factory myself, I wonder what'll happen if/when Squig brings home some reject-discard drones? And what he will have them do?

I could see taking home the drones in opposite lights: First, the drones are all adorable ala the 80's flick "Batteries not included".
Second: They're like the turrets from Portal. Some shoot at you; some strangely break your heart while saying "I'm different".

There is no middle.

Have to admit that I'm surprised Squig seems to actually be paying attention to his job.

Haven't been on in a long while, been reading though.

I've worked industrial jobs before, and I have to say...
that is a nice factory. Evildoing or no, somebody is cleaning the floor and the machines, and doing a nice job at it too.

From what I have seen of the devil, he might be evil (well, duh)
but he seems pretty good about HR, and worker safety.

I love posts like these. Its pretty funny that despite the negative connotation the comic has toward the devil and his horde of wealth, He IS at least creating jobs with his massive fortune which can't be said for the Terrorist, Patriarchy group.[/quote]

Honestly, you just seem to have missed the point of... basically everything.

The point flew off into the sunset.

I could build a factory that produces nuclear waste which poisons the local rivers and creates mutated children and animals and kills forests but hey, 200 new jobs for everyone! I am the best ever. Fuck those loser terrorists of Greenpeace.

don't forget - you don't even need to pay living wages for those jobs! you can pay minimum wages that won't even cover rent, because the horrible socialist government will coddle them by giving them food stamps and medicaid. stupid workers, always getting sick and whining for food. they should be happy you have given them a job!

yay, jobs!
