Criminy's nerding better be to nerdily help out the Sisterhood or at least get involved in the main plot.

I support this move to return to the bow tie.

Yay for the bow tie. But I'd have liked to see something of Fyoosh having infiltrated his home, if not Fyoosh herself.

He does, but... Tomey kind of has its own personality and identity, even if it does seem to be a sort of headstrong pet kind of identity. Despite being a gift from Fuchsia, I wouldn't take it as something-to-remind-you-of-Fyoosh.

One of her paintings would be more what I'd expect.

It'd be nice to see Criminy as a bit more of an active character. I don't think he needs to overdo it, he's always been happy as the sidekick. Reclaiming his original look is a nice step forward. I think Mr. Ishida changed him in the first place because his original look was a little bit too... cartoonish for lack of a better word. While it was okay for Slick to look cartoonish when courting Monique -- it helped convey how he was literally too little a man for her -- it was just getting kind of weird to see a what amounts to a succubus cuddle up to a nerd-cartoon. Even reclaiming his original look Criminy doesn't look like that anymore.

However, at some point he just stopped being an active character. He's still one of the comic's few forces for good but he's not going to attempt to fix anything unless Fuchsia or someone he cares about is in trouble. In some ways he's a comic writer's worst challenge -- a character who responds neutrally to everything is hard to write for.

My guess is that, yeah, we're going to see more of him again. What I'd like to see is if he can help temper the sisterhood in some ways. They tend to have a rough edge and their methods have been shown recently to not have lasting or meaningful effect on the system.

I don't know. I tried to appeal to this forum's inter-intellectuals for years, and one post trying to appeal to the inter twelve year old and it gets results.

I expected more DW-related freak outs from the bow tie re-emergence.
