They're not really spy drones are they? If the enemy sees you coming...

Milton needs to learn how to hack.

I don't think this is the Sisterhood's HQ. I think this is an attack on Clio's place, and the object being carried off is the processor from the remote-self-destructed Weaponised Fembot.

In other news, yes, the Bullet Deadliness Quotient for this is right off. The drones blaze away and hit nothing; Tess bullseyes a drone with her nailgun, Clio chainsaws a second, and Violet smashes two. Which is odd since I see no reason for the drones to approach to melee range, but anyway.

And yes, Cupid's arrows are probably not solid objects, otherwise falling in love would be fatal.

But more importantly, yay! Sisterhood! There's some quite tempting avatar images here...

Regarding Excalibur and its extension (which has happened before):

...so yes, because magic.
"Nyoi bo" is the Japanese translation of the original "Ruyi Jingu Bang", the staff carried by the Chinese monkey god (commonly known in Japan as Son Goku) who accompanied Tripitaka on his legendary Journey to the West to spread Buddhism.

It'd be an interesting, potentially minor character developing arc if...

... someone mentioned to Lil' Sis how phallic her weapon of choice is.

(I mean, the same has been said about a lot of weapons, but just look at today's comic again! Or maybe my Porn Eye is just acting up again.)

Big D sure messed up his priorities with what the drone-force-field should be able to defend against... maybe next time he'll try a "if you can do ranged shots, don't fly in melee range, you dimwit" software upgrade as well....

Sigh, boring curbstomp battle in which the drones, equipped with flight and lasers close in for no apparent reason so the Sisterhood can stomp them.
And yeah, Satan apparently only protects his drones on a threat by threat basis Rolling Eyes Razz

Maybe it's all an act, and that he's only pretending to fight them.

I actually agree I'm not sure this is necessarily a direct attack (though it could be, and the drones just attend the Imperial Soldier Marksmanship Academy): I think Milton's really sending the drones to try and get the chip back.

..Though, wait, that theory has flaws too, in that, how the hell would he know anyone in the sisterhood has it?

All vital processor microchips that somehow contain the personality and memories of a rogue killer android also contain locator beacons. I'm sure Hollywood says so.

Yes, hence my judgement of this mission's strategy being crap based on the drone that broke through and went for the chip.

Spy drones that don't focus on stealth being sent to infiltrate with guns blazing? srsly

That might be interesting if there was any actual indication of it in the comic.

Maybe Big D's the protagonist and the Sisterhood is being shown to be really powerful so there can be a character arc where he improves enough to defeat them before progressing to the epic battle with his true evil nemesis, Handpuppet Guy, but then it goes back to square one because everything turns out to have been orchestrated by (...)

/crackpot theories

Wow. It's weird, I don't remember reading either of those comics. It wouldn't be that unusual for me to have skipped over one, but both of them? Hmmmm. Odd.

In other news, the extending staff puts me in mind of Kuwabara's spirit sword from Yu Yu Hakusho. "SWORD, GET LONG!"

Hey, is it just me or did Li'l Sis lose the skull helmet by the last panel? It's not that unlikely for it to have fallen off in the midst of all the action, but I'm just wondering if it's still on her head and my eyesight is really bad.

She's not shown very clearlly, but I *think* she's still wearing it. That light bit on the left hand side of her face is meant to be the long tooth from the skull, I think.

African firm is selling pepper-spray bullet firing drones

In addition to pepper-spray ammunition, the firm says it can also be armed with dye-marker balls and solid plastic balls.

The machine can carry up to 4,000 bullets at a time as well as "blinding lasers" and on-board speakers that can communicate warnings to a crowd.
