Does this mean we'll see more of the other Seymour?

Also, glad to know he still follows Piglin.

This is not my favourite side of Seymour. Getting giddy - to the point of quasi-sexual arousal - about The End Of Everything...that is just goddamned creepy.

Piglin makes me happy for reasons.

Double creeps when you realize how many real life fundgelicals have a similar reaction.

Especially when Seymour's main sqeeze doesn't even know the date or time it will occur.

Seymour's main squeeze is pretty much ready for it whenever it happens...

well, you have to remember that they think it means they will be lifted up to the presence of God Himself, to spend eternity in bliss.

although why they have to be so heavily armed beforehand is unclear to me.

I'd thought his well-intentioned ignorance and cheery hypocrisy made him who he is. This pathological obsession with the End Times - while apropos for such a character - is really off-putting.

Well, to be fair, in Seymour's theology (assuming it's like traditional Christian theology), The End Of Everything is what leads to The New And Joyful Beginning Of Everything, so that part is reasonable--he's just neglecting all of the "woe to those in those times" stuff.

Indeed. One is supposed to be martyred for not bowing down and all that, not go in with guns blazing.

The guns and sandbags would indicate that he's not.
