So, for the last few year ends we have seen the new year death/birth story line. It's now May, so if the Year is around 80 or so at the end, that would make him, what, lake 30s by now?
In all the times I have seen the old year/new year thing here and elsewhere, I have never seen any mention of "the Year" at any other time of.. well, the year. Maybe it's just me, but I have always wondered what a years lifetime is like. Does it go to school, fall in love, have a midlife crises, enter rehab, etc. With how creative Sinfest has always been I would LOVE to see something like a 'day in the life of' strip for the year, maybe a 12 panel Sunday strip with 1 panel for each month or something.
So, any ideas what the events might be or thoughts on what a 'life in a year' would look like in sinfest world?

A day in the life of an anthropomorphism of all major human experience over the course of an arbitrarily constrained time frame? ... just whatever happens during that day that might turn up in the news, I say.

I made this for you. ^^

It might not be fully clear what's happening. . . so. . . he's basically running around making spring / passage of time happen. ^^

Lol, love it.! Thank you, the best I could come up with was a depressing repeat panel of an ever aging Sisyphus.

well, there is the whole turning of seasons - spring as youth, summer as full maturity, autumn as a period of aging....and then midwinter is death.

Samsally, that is my favorite comic thing you've made so far! Very Happy It was very clear to me, and I can totally see that fitting in with canon - plus I never thought to picture the New Year as someone growing up.

Is it too early for a middle age crisis?

"Damn. At half my age MDCCCXLVIII was undergoing this awesome Revolution in France. What am I even doing with my life?"
