Welcome to the forums, Proxy! Hope you enjoy our world of posts, threads, and bickering!

So I ran through the piece, but I don't recognise it. Sounds fun and happy, though!

I'd hate to say this but the second one might be nyan cat... the first one sounds really dark, but boring. the second sounds happy, but a bit too much so.

I don't think it's nyan cat. But yes, the first one just sort of shifts a third around.

I wonder if these are Tatsuya Ishida's forays into original composition?

We should make an arrangement for an orchestra!

With a kazoo section and a didgeridoo solo!

Nope. The second one is the theme from "Chariots of Fire" -- appropriately enough. Listen here, the theme comes in at about 40 seconds in.

edit:ooh you mean the first panel?

That's O Fortuna from Carmina Burana.

It was in 300

Classical music is my favourite genre, so yes, I do know that this song pre-dates movies.

in fact, I always thought that o fortuna was one of the more boring movements. I prefer Fortune Plango Vulnera

Speaking of which, Russian Composers are my favorite. On the whole Carmina is kinda meh to me.

I think they used it in 'Excalibur".

I doubt King Arthur would have known the tune.
