That third panel is the most adorable thing I've seen tonight. It just makes me happy.

When I checked on today's strip I let out a long "Nooooooarrrghh" even though I was in the middle of class. No one in there understood my pain.

Edit: And like I said yesterday I am

Well, we're right there with you, Ennis.

I suspect that Tat's plot arc for Pxsomethingsomething/Lil' E/Tange/Xanthe/Slick/Squig/Milton doesn't break down neatly into big colour Sunday action strips interspersed with six strips that are shorter but richer in dialogue. So, filler.

It'd be nice if the filler material was following one or two different arcs (say, 'Nique and Abby) rather than just inconsequential scenes from characters we haven't seen for a bit, but meh. If wishes were horses, and all that. I'm happy that there's at least some plot development.

how can you be disappointed

this is what Tat does

this is what Tat has always done

Sinfest continues to emulate all of the problems that turn up in the newspaper-syndicated drivel despite being published in a medium with none of those constraints

it's baffling, but that's how Tat wants to do this

you won't be happy unless you just go along for the ride
or not read it at all, I guess, but you're in too deep for that, aren't you, o forum-goer

We could maybe get more progression if he used his panels a bit better.

If you look back to last Sunday's strip, he uses 4 panels just to show them in an elevator and moving. 5 if you count getting in and out. In weekday strips, that's almost two days gone.

I expect we'll see them bump into PX this Sunday, but not see any resolution of it until Sunday after next at best.

They have excellent taste in music. Smile

I wonder if they have names? How about Kite and Kestrel?

This is by far the best version ever: O Fortuna from Mis-heard Lyrics.

By far not comprehensive, but: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Orff%27s_O_Fortuna_in_popular_culture

I recognised the lyrics in the first panel from when I sang O Fortuna with the school choir in secondary school. I wasn't surprised by Tats' choice of background music for the Evil Spybots, because O Fortuna is pretty standard "oh my god teh horror" music.

I didn't get the last panel, though. Chariots of Fire, really? XD I kind of wish it had been Nyan Cat.

I'm kind of glad they're not following along. Unless they would somehow redeem/free/enlighten the other bots/drones, I'd be worried for the safety of the cute li'l things. <3

Lucky,

I played the tuba part in high school and it was hella boring. Just one note throughout the entire piece until the end.

Like I said earlier, I think something a little more playful like la gazza ladra would suit the zen bots.

I sympathise. I'm a French Horn player, and our parts are 90% long notes. And 10% awesome solo, but when you get to that part you're so unused to actually having the tune that you completely mess it up. And that's only if you play first horn anyway.

Thats why I like trombone... you do sometimes get good parts that sound like music. You need a good ear to play trombone even halfassedly, so i find no end to the irony of the sacbut... when the bell was BEHIND YOUR EAR. On about the loudest instrument. Laughing

I played the base drum. Or well, anything that involved mallets and hitting things with them. My parts ranged from "wow forty bars of rests and then i get to play. once." to "holy shit i better fucking get this right because you can here me over the entire band". Sometimes both at once. Eh. A lot of times both at once, really.

Good times.
