|

Sinfest's last compilation book of the strips was ages ago, and honestly I would far prefer to buy one with the more recent stuff in it. A book starting from approximately the "realisation" comic (where Blue comes to Tat with the contract and he tears it up) would be pretty much perfect, in my opinion. I thought maybe if we could show Tat that there's a good amount of interest he would think about creating one. Since I know there's a lot of lurkers who aren't going to post (and the poll option isn't exactly that great) I've set up a Google survey to record responses and if I get enough and it looks like people are interested I'll email the results to Tat. It'll only take you a minute, please take the survey! |

... Wait, how did your computer hum the words? Do you have something set up that reads new posts to the forum? Or what? |

I shared my two cents. Was surprised to see 'I would not buy the book, I just said "no" jeez' was an actual choice and not somebody being rude. _________________

I would really only be interested in this if it was something like Bill Watterson's The Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book which had that great commentary. He's the greatest, in my opinion, and of all his books, that's probably the best one because he illuminates the strips with his own story. |

Haha I meant it as being more lighthearted. I might change it though, if it comes off like that.
OkSun: If you haven't already taken the survey then you could add that at the end?
Also holy shit if this is true I take back what I said about Tat doing more marketing.
Although, I imagine he'd make a fair amount more if he did and did interviews, but I'm guessing Tat isn't the kind of person who wants to do any social media going by his two-yearly "blog" post updates and single photo dating back probably more than a decade. And maybe he would ruin some of the mystique if he was more public XD
If only I could get those thousands of people to take my survey to show an interest. 95% probably never even touch the forum link.
Oh, how many responses do you think I should aim for before I compile the results and send them to Tat? Right now I have 45. Or how long should I wait? |
