That's a lot of vengeful supersoldiers who are probably not going to be very happy with Deviltech.

I hope D-man and his employees have good insurance.

And another impossably timed duex ex machina from the protest brats. Now if you know anything about hacking, it's that you can never guarentee that "that thing you did" really worked right. Sure, it can get program1 running, but it can just as easily bork program3 and 4 with registry keys and codexes. This is either going to be the most menacing Rockettes line, or it's gonna go Kill Bill fight scene. But the safe bet is on the Huntresses doing something to make Blue look incompetent just in time for D to show up. Like all the Huntresses becoming plackard waving hippies, and the triangles becoming watercooler doughnut munchers with triangle mugs. Tiny flying coffee mugs.
... do they even make CPU USB connecters?!

Oh my god, I just realised that the thing she plugged into her computer was the chip from Assassin Bot. So now, I bet that all of those Assassin Bots have the memories of the one who was destroyed. That room was kind of close to Milton's lab, right? Milton is going to be in so much shit.

That means that while it's a little Deus Ex Machina (or... Clio Ex Machina?) Lil'E, Tange and Pixie weren't deliberately saved, it was just a side-effect from Clio sabotaging the Deviltech systems.

does it really count as deus ex machina if its not actually a solution to a problem (team hova was able to open the doors but that doesn't mean their problems are over yet) and the sisterhood had been sandwiched in this storyline, like, since rogue first stepped out with li'l e's weapons... so like... idk...

a deus ex machina is a sudden, unexpected solution to a problem... its not a solution, and i wouldnt say its unexpected. i was definitely expecting someone from the sisterhood to get involved. i wasn't expecting for it to be clio though, since i figured that it would have been xanthe, because of her investigating the scene when rogue first got captured... but in the context of their established skills, it makes sense that clio would have gone instead of xanthe.

Uh...you get that we're dealing with comic strip technology, right? If Tat limited himself to real-world capabilities, there'd be no Fembots or drones in the first place.

Now, see, if more people visited Clio's Stop Porn Culture booth, she wouldn't have so much free time on her hands.

It's like the saying goes, idle hands are the Dev...hey, wait a minute...

Does the strip really need twelve more nameless characters when perfectly good pre-existing characters are languishing in limbo? Oh well.

I meant it in more of a "saved for now" way, since yesterday it looked like getting set upon by the drone bots was imminent. I do think the Clio thing was a bit out of the blue, maybe not really "deus ex machina". I was too swayed by the haters haha.

I hope Xanthe does get involved somehow, though.
