OK, so... they're not escaping with Tess and Team Infiltration. Interesting.

Also, Deviltech are making and shipping fembots again. Worth noting.

I'm kind of annoyed that they're only going to hide in the back of the truck, mind, and not steal it and drive it straight to the Reality Zone...

How do you know that's what will happen? They could steal the truck, nothing is set in stone yet.

*still can be blown up remotely*
Just imagine... they're free... doing whatever it is that free assassin bots do... maybe they've gotten into the reality zone and all developed personalities of their own... and one day they're minding their own business when all of a sudden, "self destruct sequence activated," and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. granted i doubt they'll make it that far.. the point being that they are not free... they are never free as long as they can be destroyed remotely.

Only one of them is looking in the back, presumably to check the cargo. I don't think they're planning to hide there. I don't even think they knew that the truck had fembots in it. I'd really like to see them drive it into the Reality Zone though!

* the sisterhood can crack systems
* assassinbots need to crack systems or they will explode
* the sisterhood knew this from the exploded assassinbot that they found
* the sisterhood sent a large data transfer to assassinbots
* the sisterhood didn't give "rescued" assassinbots information on cracking systems
* despite this the sisterhood is still the most competent group in the comic

Wow, I'm really out of synch with the general zeitgeist around here. My first thought was that they were going to disguise themselves as "regular" Fembots, seal themselves into the packages, get sold, and turn on their new owners, starting a Fembot rebellion.

OSLT

===

On another note, I'm guessing that those Fembots in the truck have never been activated, that they were packaged fresh off the assembly line (unless I'm wrong). In keeping with a recurring topic, would destroying them constitute "murder"?

(They're not presently lodged within anyone else's abdomens, so a certain obvious parallel isn't really applicable. Thank heavens.)

To quote myself from the thread for a comic a couple days ago:
Quote:
If the breakout of the bots was the actual goal the sisterhood seems to have rather botched it. No distractions and no backup and now they're just getting picked apart by what is ostensibly an endless supply of devil-tech droids.

Well, there aren't all that many other groups to begin with.

Also, despite criticism on a few operations, Deviltech continues to rake in billions of dollars, so they're still fairly competent.

Whatever their ultimate mission was (maybe Tat will tell us but...I'm not optimistic), they didn't botch it, they scrapped it. Sauron was live so they ducked out, remember?

Sometimes I wonder if Tat simply enjoys drawing string bikini underwear with all those angles. xD

I'm okay with it though. But I do want to give them different clothes.

I keep coming here hoping I can find out what's going on. This one, as near as I can tell, shows fembots loading to the truck, and the truck leaving, with one last something or other waving good-by. Izzat so?

... no. it shows the three weaponized fembots finding a devilcorp truck and two of them begin investigating. one investigating the front, where the drivers sit, and one investigating the back, where they keep the products they deliver, and finding the commercialized, standard fembots. presumably the third isn't going near the truck based on the way her arms are raised in the first panel to indicate uneasiness or shock.

the truck isn't going anywhere yet.

I think it's safe to say that we are in a brave new world where the plot advances each day, and I'm excited to see where we are going.

Speaking as somebody who unloads cargo from trucks as one of his many under-the-table lines of employment, those fembots should be more properly secured. The way they are lined up now they should fall over domino-style as soon as the truck accellerates or breaks hard enough.

I have a theory on why this is, though. Bubble-wrap is a material woven of plastic, air, and pure goodness so Deviltech refuses to use it.
