Yes, that guy. I looked for that strip but I haven't found the right tags to search for yet.

Whoever he is, he's got a surprise in store for him.

I was thinking the same thing from the last episode. Blue and Milton will activate the destruct mode and blow up the store, or now, possibly kill a customer, with all the resulting suits and challenges that could shut the business down. Big D will love what Blue and Milton have done with the revenues.

Does this guy have a nickname? I mentally file him away as "the square"...in all likelihood, neither his outfits nor his attitudes towards objectifying women have improved since the 1950s.

This guy should spend his money on a coat that doesn't make him look like a park flasher.

I hope he does buy this fembot. That would be a super wise decision on his part.

I'm in total agreement. This man's clothing is appalling. How dare he dress in the style of men in the 1950s.

The 1890s had far superiour selections in clothing.

*sartorial high five* I agree good sir.

Re the comic: Why doesn't he have pupils? He's not a devil or bot, as far as I can tell.

Never underestimate the practicality of a good hat:

Not that the cited strip makes a heck of a lot of sense to me -- so, Devilness qualifies as an STD? -- but I'm presuming this is in fact that guy and not some other guy.

Maybe that explains the outfit. What else goes with a hat like that?

He's letting out her inner demons on her. That seems to be the implication behind the comic you linked. It goes along with Tats assuming all porn and prostitution is abusive to women, dismissing any that isn't and eliminating the issue of men and boys in porn and prostitution altogether. His whole anti-porn phase never once even mentions male-on-male gay pornography and it's almost as popular as straight pornography.

It also has the funniest titles and premises (link is worksafe): http://1-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/tg/image/1370/46/1370468312780.jpg

Anyway, the implication is that this guy probably has some sadistic urges Tats associates with mainstream porn, like a desire to choke out women or cum on their face, and he can't bring himself to ask a flesh-and-blood women to let him do those things to her even though there are numerous online websites JUST FOR MEETING THAT TYPE OF PERSON. Instead he wants to choke a fembot and cum on her face because he doesn't think she's a real person and that he can do what he wants.

He'll probably end up getting zapped in the grundle or something.

Wait, is that guy and that guy also this other guy from a mere three strips later?

http://sinfest.net/view.php?date=2013-11-27

Maybe that's why Tange and PX reacted so strongly to a simple greeting (I mean, what's wrong with "Hello, ladies"? if he'd just said "Hello" it might have been unclear that he was speaking to both of them); they could somehow "sense" his earlier actions.

In the cited Sunday strip, that guy, with his hat on, was brightish pink with pupilless eyes. Just like PX. I don't feel like even trying to figure out the possible implications of that.

No, wait, my mistake, he wasn't pink, he was purple, unless that was just the atmospheric shadows and stuff. Maybe I got started too early in the morning today...

Well, yes, that's the strip's symbolic meaning, but what's its literal in-universe meaning? What does it tell us about the internal mechanics (such as they are) of Devilness and the Sinfestiverse? If Tat's going to world-build, it'd be nice if he'd be a bit more clear about it.

I'll post the full strip for more convenient reference.

http://sinfest.net/view.php?date=2013-11-24

It looks like the guy temporarily (if we presume he's the same guy as today's guy then, obviously, it's back again, what with the pupillessness and all) transferred his Devilness to the woman. So he went home as a mortal when he left as a Devil while she went home as a Devil when she left as a mortal, is that it? So, any Devil Person who wants a break from being a Devil Person can instead be a mortal for a few days, weeks, whatever by having sex with a mortal? Is that it?

I don't think anyone seriously believes that the strip will, upon switching back to Stately Devil Manor, reveal that Monique and Abby actually ended up sleeping together, but if it does, well, that could make for one heck of a Morning After...

(Also, does the building have two sides (and the woman, thus, two booths, one on each side) or did the window on the woman's booth just redistribute its lights to change the sign? Well, that's not really important, I guess.)

I think you're expecting waaaay too much versimilitude from Tats.

You seem to be expecting Dante or Tolkein levels. You should re-adjust versimilitude expectations to somewhere below Nolan Batman but above Silver-Age Batman.

Or, if you're going to take the comic's influences into account, somewhere between Bloom County and Calvin and Hobbes. In the case of the comic posted I'd say symbolic meaning definitely takes precedence over literal meaning.
