More questions than answers.

And what is going on in panel 6? Someone burning at the stake, the feet of someone who suffered foot binding -- but where did that all come from?

Blue's face in panel 11 -- emotions getting through.

Is there no going back for her? I don't suppose there is, any more than there is for PX.

A compelling reminder of the gender crimes committed by cishet male scum and why men must be punished for their past sins.

A good comic.

Now, how about a thoughtful, intelligent answer?

Oh, never mind. Here, troll, have a cookie.

Ohhhhh, I just realised that panel 6 is the memories of the trashed fembots that the Sisterhood uploaded. I couldn't figure it out at first either.

Blue has a sad expression in panel 11! Does this mean she's starting to empathise with the fembots? *hopes*

Were the fem-bots subjected to foot-bindings and witch-burning?

That's what I'm getting out of panel six.

by the way, KillAllMen, you might want to make another account and try again

your trolling's not going to be particularly effective if you're so obvious about it, and it's too late for this user name

really

you've failed

no one here is going to engage with you on your own terms at this point

try again

Take my advice. I'm trying to help you out, here.

Well, unless I've misinterpreted your intentions. Maybe you don't want to be an effective troll.

It's imagery uploaded during construction to enrage the fembots.

Maybe not, but maybe yes. It probably depends on how much Blue wants to go back.

I'm guessing Blue's not interested. She's only going back in the bottle when D-man gets back. With more than a few caveats, I'm sure.

Hmmmmm. This message conflicts somewhat with Blue's reunion with Fuchsia. But I suspect it's going to take a while to see which wins out.

I don't like the... almost blank expression on Blue's face after watching Pxsomethingsomething's suicide attempt. You'd hope to see some sort of reaction to all the stuff she's seen and been through, and what she tried to do about it, but... no.

Meanwhile, Fuchsia leaving, and creating that painting, gives the lie to the "There is no going back" line for Blue.

Anyway. Booooooooo! Back to Abby and 'Nique being adorable!

In light of their new piece-of-shit oversized avatar (which I have blocked for being blurry and oversized), I'm going to suppose that KillAllMen is attempting to be amusing, rather than attempting to troll.

here, KillAllMen

Study:

Well, since we got no answers, yes, one might think.

I continue to think that Fuchsia's painting is very condescending toward Blue. Blue was much happier as a Booth Babe and Hell Stabber than she was as a waitress. If Fuchsia thinks being a mortal (or at least a non-Devil; if Blue went to school with Jesus, I'm not sure she started out as a regulation mortal) is so great, why doesn't she hang around with some of them (other than Crim) for a while? Why isn't she making a serious effort to become one?

Well, whatever.

Which reminds me of a bizarre moment in which Jesus apparently attempted to re-mortalize Fuchsia and failed:

What was that all about? We'll never know.

And that reminds me of a time when Blue was on the bottle.

(panel 18 )

As was Fuchsia:

(panel 5)

I'm not sure when that was phased out. Shrug.

The footbinding and witch-burning is horribly out of place. I think if you polled the average American you'd find that only crazy people and a very small percentage of foreign immigrants actually support shit like FGM and foot-binding. Even retrofucks who think women belong in the kitchen stop short of that bullshit. Also witch burnings were not an exclusively anti-woman practice and persecution for witchcraft, which is still fairly common in some parts of Africa, is still hardly women-exclusive. That we only associate witch-burnings with the murder of women is sexism but not the kind Tats wants you to think about.

It's also a callback to a comic where Clio inserted those images, sans-context of any kind, into the heads of a production line of fembots causing them to go berserk on the factory employees and have to be shut down. How does using out-of-contex information to transform fembots into clearly-disposable soldiers in her struggle make Clio "good" under any definition of the term? That act reeked far more of "terrorist" than it did "freedom fighter."

If The Sisterhood was super-serious about defeating Big-D the answer has been in pop-culture folklore for over a generation. Beat that fucker in a fiddlin' contest. There's probably a feminist dwarf over at The Sisterhood whose special mary-sue power is fiddlin'.

Oh, of course. So we also know that PX was one of that batch of fembots, for whatever that's worth.

I must say, the original fembot programming, the happy and obedient little woman in the vein of apocryphal "advice to a young wife" things floating about (and and not at all apocryphal books), is chilling in its own right.
