Yes, Tatsuya, you have greatly improved at drawing vehicles over the past decade. We've noticed. Good job. Your high overall quality of art that only steadily improves over the years should be an inspiration to all webcomic artists. I really mean that.

Now get back to the plot.

A van-driving robot... chauffeur allegory arc coming soon? The cruelty of using people for their ability to drive a car? Chauffeur robot rebellion? A rebel group who build "drivers only" spaces?

... no? Okay.

What... am I looking at here? Something robotic is in the front seat. I can't make out what it is.

It's one of the robotic "paramedics" that picked up PXetcetc. when she got zapped by the slugdrone while pretending to threaten Slick. It appears the flydrones have found Tess's getaway vehicle, though exactly why she'd take the time to move the robomedic to the driver's seat is a mystery. Regardless, DevilTech may or may not be on the Sisterhood's trail.

It kind of looks like a robot design out of Wal-E.

I would definitely be up for some Wal-E-esque subplots. Wal-E is the perfect romantic movie.

To deflect suspicion is my guess. What exactly is there in the info Deviltech has gathered about the recent fembot escape/rescue that points towards the Sisterhood? Shifting the bot to the driver's seat makes it look like there wasn't a human involved, and could set them off looking in the wrong direction.

My first impression was that the truck was driven to the middle of nowhere by the robot, seeing that he's in the driving seat and the truck is in a field, but that's just first impression.

Ah, the paramedic bot. So it makes sense -- to the drones finding it, anyway -- that it would be in the front seat. Now it remains to be seen if it is simply an abandoned vehicle and out-of-commission bot, or a trap.

Probably a trap. It wouldn't be like the Sisterhood to leave their toys lying about without a purpose.

You consider bots to be toys?

(yes, I'm already running away Twisted Evil )

In a metaphorical sense -- as in, "What kind of fun can we have with these?" followed by an evil chuckle.

You know, when I saw the spybot looking suspiciously at the scene, I thought maybe it was that the paramedic bot wasn't supposed to be in the driver's seat. Maybe the paramedic bot doesn't drive. It doesn't even have legs to reach the gas and break pedals. I guess it could just plug in to the van's computer. But why build a robot driver when you can build a self-driving car?

Because a hovering sort-of-half-android that can drive a motor vehicle is cooler than a self-driving motor vehicle?
