Oh don't worry, I don't claim eloquence ever. |

A word you used AFTER what we are quoting back and forth. I cannot read the future, and did not know when I quoted you that you were going to later use this word. |
Oh, so since I didn't state that right up front, first thing, means it was alright for you to assume you knew what I was talking about and put words into my mouth. |

You questioned his right to have an opinion. There is no way to take that that isn't bad. _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

I questioned his right to discredit the value of a life. And this is coming from a pro-choice liberal. |

You questioned his belief. I am more than happy to accept that that's not what you meant, but it is what you said.
Just so you know, I'm not at all trying to push this. I'm just answering you, not initiating. I would've been perfectly happy to leave this behind as soon as you clarified in your first post on page 8. _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

Beliefs are something that can and in many cases should be questioned. You can believe that the sky is purple and rains frogs, but that doesn't necessarily make it true (they might be on acid, you never know...). _________________ TatWatch - The Artist is: IN!

| Okay. I just grew up in a household where people don't really listen to each other, and I hate having people think what I didn't mean for them to think. Sorry about any belligerence, too, I just have a rough job and am v. tired. |

Certainly no problem at all. I'm not sure there is anything more frustrating for me than not being able to make myself clear, whether it's my fault (most of the time) or someone else's. _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

And Bodhi, I meant the right to a belief, of course. No idea why I dropped that part when I'd just quoted again. _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

or they might be expiriencing a freak frog rain/hurricane. I have often noted a purple hue to the sky during really intense weather, and I am given to understand that rains of frogs and/or fish can happen because of freak typhoons and the like. _________________ -HamletSr |

Guys... I'm really weirded out right now. I'm reading Chasing Vermeer and part of the mystery of the book has to do with a man investigating things like rains of frogs and how odd coincidences may have an underlying purpose.

It IS odd. How many times can you recall having a conversation about rains of frogs? Not in sunday school talking about a plague of Egypt, just in regular conversation? _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

I just want to tell you, that I think that is an AWESOME book! It's in my personal library and I loved figuring out the mystery hidden in the illustrations. |
