If you wouldn't mind, for a homework assignment for my Human Factor's class i've been required to draw up 12 questions related to Tape Measures and their use, and then ask these questions of a variety of people before coming to class. Why tape measures? Because my instructor said so.

Anyways. Thank you for your time.

Survey On Tape Measure Use.

A. Very! If it's not comfortable in my hand, i won't buy it.
B. Fairly. It's not a must but it is nice if it's comfortable to hold.
C. Apathetic. Just has to measure, doesn't it?

12) What other feature, if any, would you most like to see on a Tape Measure? (not including a positional lock)

A. Some sort of small flashlight.
B. One of those little bubble-levels.
C. A hook or Carabiner to attach it to my belt/backpack.
D. a small safety-blade for cutting packages or tape. (recessed into the body so cutting oneself isn't possible.)

If you're not willing to participate in a short survey for the good of my ejewmakacion, please at least don't spam this thread for a while, which would make it harder for me to collect information from anyone who is willing.

Come on dro, if i did that i'd have no choice but to make it over 50' just so i wouldn't have to leave off Tommy Lee.

A. Very! If it's not comfortable in my hand, i won't buy it.
B. Fairly. It's not a must but it is nice if it's comfortable to hold.
C. Apathetic. Just has to measure, doesn't it?

A. Some sort of small flashlight.
B. One of those little bubble-levels.
C. A hook or Carabiner to attach it to my belt/backpack.
D. a small safety-blade for cutting packages or tape. (recessed into the body so cutting oneself isn't possible.)

Question: don't you need to use at least some kind of sample that's not "the whole wide world" when doing a survey?
