Gah, I spend to much on time SL, of course it doesn't help that there are so many friendly peeps there who don't pre-judge you.
Anyone else have any experience with SL, good or bad? _________________ Proud parent of PeteMoss!! |

An MMORPG called "Second Life". What a redundant title. |

the Second Life economy is huge. hell, it's been featured in Wired a dozen times already, including this month's issed, as well as countless features in Forbes, The Economist, Business 2.0 etc.
there are are a few people in SL that make something like $100,000 to $150,00 in real, U.S. a year, just by buying and selling 'virtual' clothes, cars, houses and 'virtual' land.
granted, most users will never reach that, but it's possible. it's not just a run-of-the-mill MMO 'game.' |

Its true, if you're good at building (CG modeling), scripting, animating or all of the above you could make some real money. However, there are alternatives to those three to making money, like selling you're art or other digital transferable items that are exclusive or unique. _________________ Proud parent of PeteMoss!! |
