Thought I might start this one up since I'm bored and no one's saying anything.
"Pretend like I'm not here!"... Tat's trying to tell us something
A series of tubes? |

What a great first post.
I think you're right about the reference. |

Poor newbies. The tubes joke is a staple around here! _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

| What I like most is the "We'll fix it in post" remark. |

I really hope you're not talking about posting in a forum and are refering to the strip.
it means post-production. _________________ ... |

No, I know what posting in a forum is, but I meant with the whole analogy...
If life is a movie, then what is post? Afterlife? And do they really fix it in post then?

um... yeah. they do. it's quite an operation they have going there. I'm sure I can't wait for you to see it for yourself. _________________ ... |

Considering it through Christian prism, which I do only because of recent themes... Slick could be Adam, and will fuck up, so "fixing in post" is Christ smoothing things over later.
Alternately, more generally, and a better guess, the strip is poking fun at people who refuse the freedom God grants them and want to be commanded as to how they should act. _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

I agree! Darn those mindless religious robots!

O, wait...
Just kidding. Nice interpretation of the whole adam/jesus thing, although I wouldn't exactly have put it that way. Then again I guess that was the point though, one man caused sin, one man conquered it. Congrats on having a better idea of the big picture than this narrowminded fundie. Not much of a feat, but congrats anyway.
PS: that was meant to be sincere, dont look at it and see sarcasm. I am trying to live up to my screenname after flaming out in the other thread. _________________ Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. -- Frederick Douglass |
