Considering it through Christian prism, which I do only because of recent themes... Slick could be Adam, and will fuck up, so "fixing in post" is Christ smoothing things over later.
Alternately, more generally, and a better guess, the strip is poking fun at people who refuse the freedom God grants them and want to be commanded as to how they should act.

Just kidding. Nice interpretation of the whole adam/jesus thing, although I wouldn't exactly have put it that way. Then again I guess that was the point though, one man caused sin, one man conquered it. Congrats on having a better idea of the big picture than this narrowminded fundie. Not much of a feat, but congrats anyway.
PS: that was meant to be sincere, dont look at it and see sarcasm. I am trying to live up to my screenname after flaming out in the other thread.
