Well, it's clear my whining has not stirred any empathy that this should be in my specially created "mixed bag" thread. I'm going, I'm going! But still, I hate meetings. This isn't like a semester abroad... I'll be travelling for 43 hours to be at a place for 92 hours. I am also pretty sure I'll get on the train and end up in Milan, instead.
But really, someone else must have a situation full of plusses and minuses. Your turn! Otherwise I'll have to divulge my secret fear of meetings fomenting trysts with Italian genetics researchers. |

Home to Milan is no small move for me, but I trust the Gendarmes to protect me from your hooks. Closer to Brussells, Amsterdam and Koln, I shall rely upon my own wits.
Are we all awake, sir? |

| I WILL go, and I'll tell that train to take me to Milan for a snack, and then to the mountain hideaway, and to STEP ON IT! And then I'm going to hit on each person at the conference until I've slept with EVERY SINGLE ONE! |

It is not our place to question Uncle Benny's methods, it just makes him hornier. |

I am going to a conference in Zurich next year.
I can't wait!
I've looked at flight times from ATL and it is only about 8 hours travel.
Take the trip. |
