I should say that another interview is required first, but I still think my chances are really good.

mine, i can at least get a wrench in. but i have to sit on the floor and sorta bend over backwards to get to the pipes, and also grow a third arm to hold the flashlight because it is _dark_ under there. and all the pipes are black.

They look silly, but

These things are life savers. You don't have to go all out, get one for ~$5.

They have some that clip onto the bill of a hat, but in tight places the bill can add to the frustration.

I can't say much, mine is dead as well.

Actually, dead and missing. I think I left it behind when I moved.

Do writers of vocaloid fanfiction even have anything to work with -- besides the appearances of the characters, which is to say, nothing?

Well . . . he got Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai for his birthday and he's probably edited/created several hundred sprites for various RPG Maker games he's created . . . I'm sure he'll come up with something.

Hakanakahukinagazawamaru Torio sat at his computer, composing his latest masterpiece, shaping Hatsune Miku's synthetic voice to his own somewhat structured melodic whims and mediocre poetry.

He didn't notice the shadow of spectral energy that had fallen across his tower, or if he did, he payed it no mind. It ebbed and throbbed slightly to the flow of his work, increasing in intensity until he decided to add another voice to the mix. Within the DAW program he was running, Len Kagamine timidly interrupted Miku halfway through the composition, and the world snapped asunder. Hakanakahukinagazawamaru's computer spun around in a dark vortex, blinked in and out of existence a few times, and was gone.

Miku and Len's voices came together, blending to a single vision. This wasn't the first time the pair had been used together in a song, but this time they were actually capable of perceiving each other, having each attained self-awareness as well as some semblance of each of the five senses. They looked upon one another, and then to their surroundings, each pulsing with the same ominous glow, a deep purple glow bordering on black that was, contrary to natural optics, stealing light and energy from everything it touched. It sporadically crackled with bolts of dark energy.

Their voices caught in their newly-formed throats as they grasped the reality of their grim situation. The spectral invasion had summoned them to the Shadow Realm!

and then they kissed. The end.

It's lacking in Sailor Moon influence (in particular sailor Saturn). Also I think M.U.G.E.N is somehow tied into it, but I think that was his brother's idea. also, there might be some Team Fortress 2 elements, again his brothers influence. I'm just going by what I overheard them talking about.

I'm not even joking BTW.

So, uh yeah, I'm pretty clueless as to how it'll turn out.

I take back a small fraction of my initial sentiment, for the internet informs me that the vocaloids each have at least a shadow of a fanon personality

I don't completely understand the appeal of Vocaloid.

Wait, actually I do but still.

Aside from the cute girls that sings in short skirts, they seem to have no backstory or personality, it's all for the user to fill in.

It's obviously not made for me.
