+ spent 24 hours at the pub with Tits McGhee.
+ my face is still sore from laughing too much
+ paranormal investigators at the pub were spooky enough to make it interesting and bullshit enough that she could eventually sleep
- we couldn't get properly giddy drunk
- kept us otherwise occupied until 4am
- no sex
- she has the busiest phone ever. Never a good sign.

Sample plus: we're in the attic with a medium and a guy with gizmos. About ten minutes of McGhee terrified nail digging clinging. She can barely breathe as the medium 'communes' with some dead orphans. Medium asks the bullshit dead "Is there anything you want to ask me?" McGhee, in a quiet but spooky growl : "Show us yer its."

I broke like Tracey Jordan on a 30 Rock live show.

+ Despite not having taken the class in years it came back pretty quick, even truth tables and operators
- She is taking up an amazing amount of my time... even bringing her homework to my (shared) office at work
- She just called me at home
+ She's really nice about it
+ The quarter is over friday

I get super paranoid about posting stories about other people on the internets in case it ever gets back to them.

I suppose it's for the best, I shouldn't bad-talk people even when they are kind of horrible.

- My grandmother passed away
+ It was apparently very peaceful
- My mom was alone with her and called me to tell me. Unfortunately she woke me up and I was grumpy and mean.
+ I immediately rectified that.

+/- It was weird being in a room with her and having silence. She was a heavy breathing, basically snored while she was awake due to her many medical issues and her mental status didn't alert her to correct it.

Everyone is sad, but everyone is happy too. If that makes sense and doesn't make us sound like monsters. To be fair, she's been dying for 25 years. She even picked out what she wanted to be buried in, the box was made in 1987.

Yeah, sometimes death can seem like a gentle release from suffering. It's normal... Though it also seems normal to question whether it's normal.

you all aren't monsters, ded. when someone is so ill, for so long, you know that death is a release, whatever you believe happens after that. it sounds like you all did all you could to make the end easier for her - about all you can do, sometimes. and i'm sure your mother understands about you being grumpy and mean on being awakened, even with news like that - you must have been on a real rollercoaster of emotions lately.

i'm glad her end was peaceful. and although i know you all will miss her, i hope you all still have a happy christmas. life does go on, and it's not wrong for people to focus on the living part of it.
