+ No longer involved in the nightclub
- I find the pub is basically an underage drinking den at weekends from people I trust
+/- My regular Tuesday crowd brought a new friend with them. She's a Zooey Deschanel look a like in leather pants. Srsly beautiful. She fucked up and couldn't remember her own age ... 'cos she's 17.

real estate agent (not the one that rents out property to us) dropped a letter on the doorstep today: Surprise! We're selling your house!
We'd never come across it in years and years of renting, so both immeditely had panic attacks. Thankfully a lady from the tenants advisory service was just the nicest and explained my rights to me. Essentially they can't move us on til the end of our lease in July, but they are allowed to bring people to view the house with only 24 hours notice. But, if they find the house in disarray they can't breach us, they can just dob on us to our rental property agents who then have to serve notice to inspect which is a min of 2 weeks.
Plus if we find the visits too disruptive, we can break lease in March with no repercussions and get our full bond back.
Still, we're both performing at an eight day festival from boxing day to Jan 2nd, so won't be at home, and its Christmas in like four fucking days. Thanks for the heart attack, douchebags. We know you have our phone numbers, they were printed on the letters! |

Oh man, the summer I worked in Chautauqua NY they put us in a ridiculously expensive house that they were also trying to sell. It pretty much sucked. There were four of us living there and we were all working long hours. The whole 24 hour notice thing was pretty sketchy and mostly we just went "WELL THEN, hope you don't mind piles of laundry shoved under the bed."
They never once tried to speak to us, just left snide little notes on our door for us to find whenever we got home that night. We never really had a full 24 hours notice, because who sits around waiting to get a note on their door? _________________ "Samsally is rude and calls people fuckwits." ~ Dogen |

- one of my teeth cracked and chipped. Like, missing a shard to the gumline.
+ it doesn't hurt. I think I might have had a root canal on that tooth. Phew.
- I don't think I can see the dentist until Wednesday. |

++ So, for the past three months I tasted a happiness I didn't think was possible, all because of a girl.
-- School? What do you mean grad school? I foget that I was even enrolled!
++ Flying to her to celebrate new years in 4 long, long days.
-- The past 8 days (only 8!) have been pretty terrible. I think about her constantly, can't sleep, can't focus on the schoolwork I should catch up on (finals)
+/- I think it is mutual
-- She moved back to her place (after having lived with me in denmark for three months) and we won't be able to see each other much after I come back again. Like, 6 months. I don't know if that will go well.
TL;DR : Gets the girl, whines anyway _________________ When life gives you lemons, some people make lemonade. I just eat them and make a sour face. |

Bought a cheapo laptop for doing work/some college work (Some of the sites for the Department of Defense work less than desired on Firefox/Safari and bogging down my mac...) Bought Microsoft Office 10 for new laptop and they didn't activate it at Best Buy... Sooo I am getting no work done tonight.
I am trying to get used to this new laptop... Keep brushing the mouse-pad and moving my cursor... It is worst than autocorrect for me. I have to watch for random letters and words appearing in the middle of an email or post... Windows 8 is interesting and is also making me angry tonight.. I am unsure if I just don't like it or I don't like change...
Sooooo... YAY new laptops that can be for work... BOOOO having to learn all over again and for not getting any work done tonight. |
