Tim Horton's is great! Only ever had it on a military base, but will be looking for some if I visit Canada.

It won't be hard to find. They're so common you can give directions by them. "Yeah, you head down Columbia and take a right just after the Timmy's, but if you hit the Timmy's on United then you've gone too far."

We're getting one here, too.

So, you know, if you hit the Tim Horton's that's -actually in the US- not only have you gone too far but you're now required to give me a call so we can hang out and eat donuts.

Timmy's was way better when they made all the doughnuts fresh in store from scratch.

I'd left Canada by then, but it's not surprising that having bakers making donuts in every store is more expensive than having them made in bulk, sad as that is for donut eaters.

A box of Timbits (doughnut holes to us) and coffee was how my old bosses started every business meeting.

It looks like adding a store to the No Fun Zone will be their 12th US state. And their farthest west (currently Michigan). I'm surprised there aren't any in WA. Canadians are crawling all over the northern half of the state, I bet they'd support a franchise all by themselves.

that sounds like a good idea - then maybe you could get those canadians to stand up and walk, instead of crawling around the place. although you would think washington would have good enough coffee to liven them up a bit, even without donuts (i _so_ want a good donut now. there are seriously no decent donut places around here.)

You should move to Portland, then. We have a famous donut place (Voodoo) and apparently 134 other donut shops.

Apparently when Costcutter started they had amazing cheap fresh donuts because of an awesome machine that churned them out fresh as needed.

+Eating healthy is getting easy
-Still have cravings for chocolate.
+/- Only two weeks until I am allowing myself to have a cheat day
--- people with colds have continued to go to the gym and not sanitized after themselves...
-I think I am getting sick.
+Skipping the gym gave me time to cook a tri tip for dinner tonight so that I won' t have to cook when I get home.
-- My job is often like telemarketing...
--------- Evil or Very Mad A teenage punk ass kid called me and the soldiers I have served with murders over the phone last night and I had to keep my cool.
+ I reacted gracefully even though I wanted to call the kid a coward and some other really not so nice names.

+1

Voodoo donuts are really good, and they even make a Bacon Maple Ale, if you needed a drink.

Anyways:

+I'm starting to eat healthy
-I think I might be starving

for a job that would be perfect for me.

and the interview went well.

historically, I have not gotten jobs where the interview seemed good.

The show that I've been playing at each Wednesday is ending after this week. It's been awesome to get up on stage each week, but it'll be good for me to actually try different venues.

i will attempt to hold deeply negative thoughts, yorick, in the hope that this will reverse your good-interview curse.
