Why do Intel and AMD fight for processor market share when they are so similar? Buddha and Jesus are going after the same market. They operate on commission. |

PEace of mind is something that I'd want but love never gives me...

I think it was a banyan (sp) tree, lot more common in that area.
All this, and prior god's team (the buddah smash comes particulary to mind), may means Tat is into super-heroic MMO or heard of it.
I liked the way enlightmen was written. All indians letters has a horizontal bar over them, you draw it first then the rest of the letter btw. _________________ Meu aerobarca esta cheoi de enguias |

i think, in this case, jesus and buddha are stand-ins for their respective followers. despite professing love, they spend so much time and energy tearing into each other, they leave the field open for the devil - who offers a lot more fun in the meantime.
i mean, who doesn't want to listen to devil music? _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Awwright. Don't get me wrong, I like this comic. A lot. But it just feels like it had more potential than it ended up utilizing. It could be... tighter.
Like "Infinite Love Beam," "Enlightenment Ray," "Healing Hand Power," and "Third Eye Blast" were all perfect, but then "Jesus Kick" and "Buddha Punch" seemed to dilute the... purity... of the idea a bit.
Also, the conclusion could so easily be referencing Satan tempting Jesus in the wilderness and Mara tempting the Buddha under the Banyan tree... but it seems to miss just slightly by not allowing a panel of reaction time from the Enlightened Two.
I dunno. I'm being picky, I realize, but it just seemed so close to the edge of masterwork without quite getting there. _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

To me the Jesus kick and Buddha punch were clever. The fight started all lofty and very religion-focused but turned into a knock-down brawl at the end. Much like I find religious debates do, going from discussion of religious ideas to just name-calling (a verbal brawl, basically).
While I don't know if that's what Tat had in mind, that's what I see in that. _________________ Who needs a signature? |

That's what I got from it also: the degeneration of their conflict into physical violence. _________________ Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. -- Frederick Douglass |

Jesus Kick should be a fatality in Mortal Kombat. Even though I haven't played a Mortal Kombat in like five years, it would still be cool. _________________ "Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life."
