As I sat here researching the Kybalion(A great, short read BTW) on Wiki, I came across a link to Summum. These guys don't seem all that bad. I mean... They double as a winery!

Has anyone else run across any interesting religions/cults to share? Please post them here with some information or a link so that all may become enlightened!

I'm posting this thread here because I would like to keep it casual, rather than getting into a deep theological discussion. Links only please. Perhaps some playful banter/postwhoring.

If you didn't know it earlier I regard Discordianism as the only true faith. Hail eris et al. Here are some other interesting religous expressions:

Zen, makes the grass grow.

Philosophical Taoism, practise nothing-doing.

Sufism, is hot.

The Church of the flying spaghetti monster is tasty.

But in the end only Discordianism has it right. Fnord. the goddess prevails.

Thank you! I was wondering when someone would post the church of the subgenuis. I was first introduced to the church in 1989 at worldcon.

Zoroastrianism is one people bandy about without really knowing anything about.

Asatru is a neopagan religion attempting to bring back the old Norse pantheon.

Palo is a religion developed by black slaves in Cuba but with lots of ties back to Congo.

Not sure if you'll find any of them interesting, but there's your info. Smile

In the name of Ahura Mazda, bestower of all good things; the generous spirited, and loving.

Here we revere Ahura Mazda; who created the animals and grains, who created waters and plants, who created the sky and the earth and all that is good.
