A more interesting question is what kind of influence his 'children' are having on him. The latest resistance appears particularily telling.

Ultimately a pointless question, but an interesting one nonetheless.

He talks about himself as a kid, I never picked up anything saying he had "children" of his own. I might have missed it though.

Hmmm, the first and second sentence are not related in that way. I was referring to his method of thinking.

'Hoped' hints at past tense, you could have praised the resistance in the first place.

Though I did not really make a qualitative statement about it, but for what it's worth, I thought it was very, very clever. Very Happy

the resistance is always pretty good.

i am wonder what influence that, the comic and possible even the forum has on what sites are advertised, though. today, there were "what is god like?", "god loves you", "relieve stomach gas" and "what is real faith?"

I am enjoying that in a thread about a comic that had NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION we are once again finding ourselves on this tired path. I'm so positive we used to be able to talk about things without the baby Jesus getting involved.

Look, there's two ways this thread can go. Either we head back into the warm, fishy embrace of religion related rehtoric or we head off into the blue skyed horizon with discussion of chilli related toilet mishaps.
