Patriarchy glasses pick up weed and fast food too. Are those considered intrinsically male as well?

Yeah, it might be for the sake of a quick joke, but I think this last strip is kinda badly written.

I kind of agree... I can get why the shades would point out as evil the working in a devil factory to produce those flying creeps, even eating from McDonalds which is a capitalist huge global corporation with no real interest in human health or nourishment, despite serving food... but marijuana? Idk... where I live I can see how middle class to rich people buying marijuana from drug traffickers helps them to buy more guns, to sell harder drugs and to entice children from poor communities into risky "jobs" within the drug trafficking life, which gets them into a violent environment away from education and their families, and way too early. But Idk if that's how that works on everywhere else... maybe.

I'm also confused on why those seems to be... patriarchal things... does the shades see more than just what's exclusively patriarcal? Or is that tat's way to say that any type of exploration and violence corroboration is also patriarchal?

I'm getting the impression that they have morphed into "underlying reality" specs, which show Squig's current primary motivations. Or maybe that's what they have always been, and in the past they have shown patriarchy because that has been the underlying reality.

Agree with MT Gradwell.

I am pleasantly surprised at Squig's personal growth.

If they are underlying reality specs, I wonder what they might show by looking at Clio or the rest of the sisterhood? Obviously a strong feminism string but unless they are completely one dimensional, there should be other quirks and vices as well.

that all's just weed and fast food, right

what does she mean 'it's a start'

what elements of toxic masculinity or patriarchy are inherent to marijuana and tasty burgers

i'm figuring it's the patriarchy's current version of the opiate of the masses - keep them fed and high, and they stay docile and compliant.

either that, or like someone said, the glasses show clio like the top 5 items on squig's mind. what is the triangle thingie? i'd think it was something to do with drones, but that's work, and i somehow don't believe work is one of the top things in squig's thoughts.

OK, so.... OK.

I live in Washington and qualify for a cannabis license for my anxiety and other mixed disorders.. everything from high-functioning autism, to PTSD, pre-described anxiety and rheumatoid arthritis equivalent to that of an 80-year-old in a 38-year-old body.

What, exactly, is wrong with weed?

I came here for the shallow and reactionary commentary, and I was not disappointed.
