this is the arc that never ends

yes it goes on and on, my friends

it just feels like that because most of you don't agree with it.

lol i have openly felt that way of like eighty percent of the heavily feminist arcs i do agree with. it is an issue of rhetorical pacing and narrative flow

the arcs being terfy and swerfy doesn't cause time dilation. but i guess it does correlate with you posting bad ideas badly, and that might make our days longer so sure

I figure these strips with breadcrumbs of development are holdovers from the newspaper publishing style, where the plot barely advances during the week, and it's the big colorful Sunday strips where the heavy lifting gets done.

I'm actually taking some heart with these mostly-filler comics in the sense that he might be using it as a bandage while reconsidering the writing. And if he's gonna turn around and refine the message, it's going to take some careful guidance if he wants to retain continuity.

Of course, if each strip is basically digging in on the idea that anything that doesn't fit the exploitation narrative is propaganda, that's going to make adding nuance more difficult, as time goes on.

Sure Tats, bring everything down to a snails pace. People LOVE it when you do that!

I usually have no problem at all whith snail's pace. I like it when comics (or movies) take time.

Having said that, I'm going back to sleeping this one off.
