How could you possibly hate them? |

Wait... golden age prints didn't HAVE chrome foil covers!
(probably part of why that was the Golden Age). |

Just because seymour has some of the same flaws as everyone else, doesn't mean he isn't right.

ah, but we often hate those who most accurately reflect our flaws. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

i think seymour is, well, like the...i don't know if this german saying is directly translated in english, but they say (translated) "even a blind chicken will find a grain some time". and mostly, seymour is like a blind (or blinded, depends on how you like it to be) chicken, but then again he sometimes hits the grain of truth somewhere in the pile of useless nonsense.
makes me think about that other thing i heard...it's a quote from LotR, in that case concerning gollum, and i don't know how it goes exactly, but it is about that any creature, as useless it, he or she might seem in the first place, might have to play a part in the bigger picture. somewhat about that.
i positively like it. _________________ "These are my new shoes. They're good shoes.

"Even a blind chicken will find a grain some time"
I think the common equivalent in English is:
"A broken clock is still right twice a day."
I've also heard:
"The sun shines even on a dog's ass, some days." _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."
