Although this is an exaggeration, it's true you are renting the club space to make money. From personal experience, House Fees included the cover charge, usages of the dressing room, locker space, the house mother, stage maintenance and the DJ. And this was every night I worked. Not to mention tipping the bouncers (highly recommended) and any food or drinks I bought.

I appreciate Tat touching on this from to time to time because people think dancers just get on stage, hustle, get showered with eleventy billion dollars and leave with a trunk full of money every night. They don't see the behind-the-scenes stuff like this. Sometimes you have a bad night and barely break even with the house. Now, you have to wonder how you going to live until business picks up.
